 Ottertail,
a small city with 572 residents, offers friendly and affordable
small
town and country living in the beautiful lake country of Otter Tail County.
Only about 11/2 hours from Fargo,
ND
and 2 1/2 hours
from the Twin Cities. Ottertail
can boast 5 lakes within our
city: Otter Tail Lake,
the largest lake in Otter Tail County,
Donalds Lake, Long Lake,
Portage Lake
and Buchanan
Lake.
Ottertail
offers municipal water, fire/rescue protection, lots of hometown pride
and is a
growing community with plenty of room to grow. We
offer ball parks, a dog park and Three Lakes Retreat
Park,
a summer recreation program and plenty of room for kids, young and old,
as well
as Fido, to run and play. 
In
2012, Ottertail will complete a 1.8 mile walking and bike path that
will take
you from “old town” to “new
town” on the highway right-of-way of 108 and 78
right past the Otter statue on the corner.
Ask

year-round and seasonal, it’s the people, the friendly faces and the
feeling of
community that beckons and keeps people returning year after year and
those
that live here wouldn’t live anywhere else.

Plenty of work
goes into making sure that everyone

from a radar run in January to a parade in December, turtle races and
demo
derbies, a tractor pull and
steak fries…there is always something to do.
